A stone pelting incident was reported from Uttar Pradesh's Aligarh on 16 January 2023.
Rocks were thrown after an argument between some people from different communities deteriorated into violence, as per reports.
Some persons allegedly involved in the incident had gone to a meat shop. An argument broke out between the customers and the store owner. At least 2 persons were injured in the subsequent stone pelting.
Police later said that the situation had been brought under control.
