A chilling video of a lioness approaching two people on a scooter on a mud road in a Gujarat village has been doing the rounds on Twitter.
In the video, shared by a forest officer, the lioness can be seen walking towards the travellers and switching from one side of the road to other.
The video has been captured by the pillion rider, who is heard panicking and chanting the name of some guru. The big cat comes closer to them, crosses the mud road and jumps to the adjacent field.
Socail media users praised the two persons for not panicking in the situation. While some wondered why the duo were not attacked, a person commented that the big cat in the clip is an Asiatic lioness, a species that is known for co-existing abilities with human beings.
