The Indian government has done away with the requirement of a Covid-19 related self-declaration form for international arrivals.

All travellers coming to India had to declare their health status, vaccination status, recent travel details on the government's 'Air Suvidha' portal

'In the light of sustained declining Covid-19 trajectory and significant advances being made in Covid-19 vaccination coverage both globally as well as in India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare has issued revised 'Guidelines for International Arrivals,' the govt said in a statement.

Last week, the aviation ministry said that use of masks will no longer be mandatory during air travel but added that it would preferable to keep using them.
