Goa police: accused confessed they spiked Sonali Phogat's drink

The two accused in BJP leader Sonali Phogat's death have confessed to have spiked her drink, the Goa Police told reporters on Friday. 

Police said accused Sukhwinder Singh and Sudhir Sangwan admitted that they deliberately mixed obnoxious chemical into a liquid & forcefully made her drink it.

The two were partying with her at the club, where she complained of uneasiness followed by her death with heart attack as the suspected cause.

Goa Police on Thursday booked two persons in connection with the death of BJP leader Sonali Phogat after a post-mortem report mentioned that there were "multiple blunt force injuries" on her body.
