Copies of the 2023-24 Union Budget were brought to the Parliament ahead of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman's speech.

Canine squads were deployed to ensure the security of the Budget papers. Sniffer dogs were seen checking Budget copies brought to the Parliament in sacks.

Sitharaman is presenting her fifth Union Budget on 1 February 2023, the last full account in the Narendra Modi administration's second stint.
