Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman called on President Droupadi Murmu before leaving for Parliament to present her fifth Budget.
Sitharaman was accompanied by MoS Dr Bhagwat Kishanrao Karad, MoS Shri Pankaj Chaudhary and senior officials of the Ministry of Finance.
This is the last full budget of the Narendra Modi administration's second stint in office.
