'Bomb attack' in Rajouri a day after terrorists shot 4 dead, injured 9; child killed in latest strike

A day after terrorists attacked civilians in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri, a suspected bomb attack took place near the home of one of the victims of the terror strike.

One child died, while 5 persons were injured in the explosion in Dangri village on 2 January 2023. Security forces found another improvised explosive device in the area, and were getting rid of it, according to news agency ANI.

A day earlier, terrorists had barged into 3 houses in the area and opened indiscriminate fire. At least 4 people died and 9 were injured in the 1 January attack.

The latest incident occurred even as local residents organised a protest. A demonstration was held at the Main Chowk in Dangri village on 2 January 2023. Protestors blamed the district administration for the terror incidents.
