Emotions ran high at slain singer Sidhu Moose Wala's funeral in Punjab.
The singer's heartbroken father took off his turban and held it out to the sea of people in attendance in a gesture that showed he had lost everything. Moose Wala's father was seen weeping uncontrollably as his mother continued to wiped away the father's tears.
The singer was cremated in his ancestral village of Jawaharke amid heavy police deployment.
The post-mortem performed on him revealed that his body had been pierced by two dozen bullets.
Sidhu Moose Wala was killed on Sunday and his father, who was tailing him in another car, had witnessed his brutal killing.
