Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar paid a visit to his uncle and NCP chief Sharad Pawar at the latter’s residence in Mumbai on Friday night.
The visit followed just hours after Chief Minister Eknath Shinde expanded his Cabinet, with Ajit Pawar's NCP camp getting key portfolios, including Finance.
This was the first meeting between Sharad Pawar and his nephew Ajit after the latter, along with eight other NCP MLAs, joined the Maharashtra government on July 2, triggering a split in the party.
