Days after Chinese soldiers committed aggression at the border, it has emerged that even the recent hacking attack on AIIMS Delhi was done from China.

The cyber attack on AIIMS servers originated from China, according to government sources quoted by news outlet NDTV. The hackers were able to infiltrate 5 physical servers, but their data has been successfully retrieved, the source said.

The damage could have been worse but is now contained, the report added.

Healthcare services at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences were severely disrupted in the last week of November due to the cyber attack.
