Aero India starts: IAF's dazzling air show after PM Modi inaugurates Asia's largest aerospace exhibition

The 14th edition of Aero India, Asia's largest aerospace exhibition, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Karnataka's Bengaluru on 13 February 2023.

The five-day event kicked-off with a dazzling air show. Indian Air Force chief Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhuri participated in the flypast, leading the 'gurukul' formation for four aircraft.

PM Modi also released commemorative stamps at the inaugural ceremony. The theme of Aero India 2023 is 'The Runway To A Billion Opportunities'.

Over 800 companies from 98 countries are taking part in the aerospace and defence show. More than 250 agreements with investments of ₹75,000 crore are expected to be signed during the event.
