In a bizarre incident, a Bengaluru man was arrested for allegedly marrying 15 women in the last 10 years by faking his profile on matrimonial site, Indian Express reported.
The conman, identified as Mahesh Nayak, 35 was arrested by Mysuru police for cheating women. It is suspected that he has 4 children out of all 15 weddings, the report added.
Nayak was arrested after a techie, from Mysuru, whom he married earlier filed a complaint. Following which cops launched a hunt. Nayak was apprehended in Tamakuru.
Notably, during initial probe, it came to the fore that Nayak's victims (wives) were mostly independent women which is probably why he targeted them.
