India on Wednesday hit out at Pakistan and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for raising the Kashmir issue at UNHRC. Calling Pakistan an "epicentre of terrorism" India said it does not need lessons from a "failed state".
At the 48th session of the UNHRC, India mounted a blistering attack on Pakistan, saying it has been globally recognised as a country openly supporting, training, financing and arming terrorists as a "matter of state policy".
Further, India chided the OIC for allowing itself to be held hostage by Pakistan, asserting that the group has no locus standi to comment on the internal affairs of the country.
India slammed Pakistan for misusing the platforms provided by the UNHRC to propagate its "false and malicious propaganda" against India.
India also pointed out that Pakistan has failed to protect the rights of its minorities and that "climate of fear" continues to drastically impact the daily lives of minorities in the country
