Ganguly's men did that in 2001, Kumble's men did that in 2008 and now Mithali Raj's women did the same on Sunday. India beat Australia by 2 wickets in the 3rd and final ODI to end Australia's 26-match unbeaten run in one day cricket.

India might have lost the series 2-1 but still managed to hand the Aussies their first ODI loss since 2017. Batting first, Australia ended up with 264/9. Jhulan Goswami and Pooja Vastrakar took 3 wickets each. Chasing which, Shafali Verma and Yastika Bhatia helped India reach 160/1. The visitors though lost quick wickets but Deepti Sharma and Sneh Rana's crucial knocks made sure India clinched a famous win.

India now shift focus to the one-off Day Night test that starts September 30, before shifting focus to the 3-match T20 series.
