IDC: Apple tops global wearables market, Xiaomi comes in second

According to the International Data Corporation, Apple continued to rule supreme in the global wearables market with 10.4 million Apple Watches among 16.2 million devices shipped in the fourth quarter of 2018. The US tech giant captured 27.4 per cent market share, while Chinese Brand Xiaomi came in second with 7.5 million devices shipped and represented 12.6 percent market share in Q4 2018.
