Stella Tennant, the iconic British supermodel and muse to designers like Karl Lagerfeld and Versace, passed away suddenly at the age of 50 on the 22nd of December, her family said. Tennant, who was the granddaughter of the 11th Duke of Devonshire, rose to fame in the 1990s. The iconic British model was famed for her aristocratic chic style. In her three-decade long illustrous career, she even appeared in ads for Calvin Klein, Chanel, Burberry and Hermes. In the late 90s, Lagerfeld announced Tennant as the new face of Chanel. Tennant married French photographer David Lasnet in 1999. She is survived by Lasnet and their four children.
