A tweet by British-Indian author Salman Rushdie grabbed the attention of Twitterati and left many laughing out loud.

The author was mistakenly tagged in a tweet by a Twitter user who was replying to a post shared by senior Congress leader Salman Khurshid on former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi's death anniversary.

Instead of ignoring the mistake, Rushdie played along and went on to tag Bollywood actor Salman Khan. "I think you have the wrong Salman. I'm Salman Khan", Rushdie tweeted creating a laugh riot on the micro-blogging site.
