At least six houses were swept away and more than 10 people were feared trapped after a landslide on Monday hit the remote high-altitude village of Boh in Himachal Pradesh’s Kangra district. The landslide was triggered by heavy rain the area.
Officials said that rescue teams have been rushed to Boh, which is 45km from Dharamshala, but the road was blocked due to landslides.
Heavy rains have also triggered flash floods in Dharamshala on Monday in which several hotels were damaged and many vehicle were swept away.
