Hima Das tests positive for Covid-19

Ace Indian athlete Hima Das has tested positive for Covid-19, confirmed her media manager. Das took the compulsory test when she returned to Patiala to resume her training. The 21-year-old's media manager further said that there was nothing to worry about on the health front. 

While the national camp for athletics will begin in the last week of October, the Assam-based sprinter who failed to qualify for Tokyo 2020 due to a hamstring injury has arrived early in Patiala to begin her training. 

The 2018 World Champion took a short break after failing to qualify for the Olympics and nursed her injury. Her coach Galina Bukharina said that Hima wants to train hard for the forthcoming Commonwealth and Asian Games
