Heartbreak for sprinter Hima Das, to miss her first Olympics due to injury

In a heartbreaking news for Hima Das, an untimely injury has ruled out the sprinter from her first-ever Olympic Games. 

The 21-year-old tweeted to say that the injury happened at a time when she was close to achieving the qualification standard in her new event, that is 100m and 200m. 

Hoping to make a strong comeback, Hima Das added that she is now looking forward to the Commonwealth Games, the Asian Games and the World Championship in 2022.
