Polish Olympic federation became a laughing stock as 6 of their athletes were forced to fly back home from Tokyo after an administrative error. The 23-member contingent from Poland arrived on Sunday in Tokyo but due to an error in the qualification submission process by the national swimming federation, the 6 swimmers were ordered to take a return flight.

Polish authorities had infringed Olympic rules by overfilling their roster and as a result, the athletes were sent back home. The disappointed bunch is now calling for some heads to roll and want swift changes in the national Olympic committee after this heartbreaking mistake.
