New PCB chairman Ramiz Raja has appointed former Australia test opener Mathew Hayden and South African fast bowler Vernon Philander to Pakistan's coaching panel for the World T20.

Hayden has been signed up as batting consultant for the tournament in the UAE, while Philander will be the bowling consultant. A head coach will also be appointed alongside the two, Ramiz said in his first press conference as PCB chairman. He added that Hayden is an Australian and can bring some aggression into the team.

This was Raja's first decision after taking the top job as Misbah Ul Haq and Waqar Younis had quit as Pakistan's head coach and bowling coach a few days back.
