Microsoft has officially unveiled at Gamescom 2021 that Halo Infinite will finally be released on December 8.
The FPS game was set to launch alongside the Xbox Series X and S consoles in November 2020, but was delayed due to the pandemic, and after its initial trailers received a mixed response.

Co-op and Forge campaign modes will not be available at launch, however, and will be added three and six months later respectively.
The highly anticipated shooter will be the first mainline Halo release since Halo 5 in 2015.
