Congress leader Rahul Gandhi took a dig at the Bhartiya Janta Party following the furore over the brief removal of blue ticks from the accounts of Vice President Venkaiah Naidu and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.

Questing the priorities of the centre, in a sneering tone, Rahul Tweeted, 'Modi government is fighting for blue tick if you want a Covid-19 vaccine then be self-reliant'

The microblogging site, Twitter on Saturday removed the blue ticks of Vice President Venkaiah Naidu and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. While the famed verification marks were restored by the evening, several RSS functionaries termed it as, 'tech feudalism by Twitter'

In its response, Twitter said that the verified status could be automatically removed from an account if it is incomplete or is inactive for 6 months.
