The government has ended the time constraint to increase the speed of vaccination and citizens can now get vaccinated 24x7 at their convenience, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan announced on Twitter.
India began the second phase of Covid vaccination on Monday to inoculate senior citizens and people aged 45 or above with comorbdities. The second phase of the vaccination drive aims to cover almost 10 crore people.
As per the health ministry, a total of 1,56,20,749 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19 so far.
