Google has announced that third-party developers will now be able to create Tiles for WearOS. The wearables-focused operating system received the Tiles feature back in 2019, which allowed users to quickly swipe through available information, much like the Google app interface. Until now, only Google or device manufacturers could develop Tiles, but now developers will be able to work on their own custom implementations. Google expects to roll out the feature along with a WearOS platform update in the upcoming months.
