Global travel should be based on testing, not vaccination: Jaishankar

Foreign minister S Jaishankar on Friday while addressing a joint press interaction following a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, batted for testing, not vaccination to be the basis for international travel. 

He said that if people are tested before travel and tested on arrival, it is good enough basis for travelling. 

The Rajya Sabha MP also stressed on the need to reach some understanding with the countries that have introduced the issue of vaccination for travel.
