According to a report by SamMobile, a new leak indicates that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22 smartphone could receive a significant camera upgrade over this year’s model.
The Galaxy S22 will reportedly sport a 50MP primary rear camera, along with a 12MP ultra-wide and 12MP telephoto lens. To recall, the Galaxy S21 has a 12MP primary rear lens.
Samsung will reportedly use the larger sensor to shoot brighter night mode pictures, and offer 8K video recording.
As with the current generation the Galaxy S22 and S22+ will share a camera setup, while the S22 Ultra will get an upgraded camera module, purportedly in partnership with camera company Olympus.
