An old woman selling veggies to support family in Moran

An old woman has been selling vegitables to support her family during the coronavirus pandemic.

The woman is Parul Sonowal, a resident of Moran Khowang Athabari. She is over 60 years old. She was seen selling vegitables at the roadside of 37 no National Highway in Khowang Athabari.

Parul Sonowal has collect the vegitables from village areas and selling them near the Athabari railway bridge. She earns almost 1000 rupees per day. She has not received any government scheme so far. The old woman has been facing problems due to coronavirus mini lockdown.

Speaking to the media, the woman said, "I am Parul Sonowal. I have been selling vegitables since long to support my family. I have collect vegitables from village and selling them here. I earn almost 1000 rupees daily."
