'Feel helpless': Chidambaram tweets as Congress implodes

Senior Congress leader P Chidambram has said he feels helpless at Congress' failure to start meaningful conversations within party forums.

His statement comes as yet another Congress-ruled state plunged into crisis following internal rifts.

Sidhu, who after constant politicking was appointed as the president of Congress' Punjab unit in July quit the post 2 days ago over differences with Punjab chief minister Charanjit Singh Channi. 

Meanwhile, Captain Amarinder Singh, who was removed as chief minister to make way for Channi has said that he is not with Congress anymore but won't be joining BJP either. 

Chidambaram said he also felt helpless on seeing pictures of Congress workers raising slogans outside the residence of a colleague and MP.

He was referring to protest outside Kabil Sibal's after the senior politician said that the Congress party has no president.
