Farmers to block expressway on March 6, tour poll bound states

In a meeting of the Samyukt Kisan Morcha it was decided that farmers will block Kundli–Manesar–Palwal Expressway at different points between 11 am & 4 pm on March 6 as the farmers' protest enters day 100, Yogendra Yadav informed on Tuesday.

On Womens' Day on March 8, women protesters will lead the protest at Delhi borders and other places across the country, Yadav said. Further, on March 15 farmers will join labourers & employees in protest against privatisation and corporatization.

He also said they will appeal to people in poll bound states to punish the BJP and its allies who brought anti-farmer laws in the assembly elections. 'We will go to the boll-bound states', Yadav said and added that the programme will begin in Kolkata on March 12 with a public meeting. 

Bhartiya Kisan Union's Balbir S Rajewal also spoke of sending teams to states going to polls and appealing to people to vote against the BJP.
