Fake currency racket busted in Nagaon, 3 arrested

The police have busted a gang involved in making fake currency notes and duping people, and arrested 3 persons in this connection from Morikolong in Nagaon district. The arrested persons have been identified as Dildar Hussain, Sakib Ali from Chillangani and a woman named Likhuma from Nagaland. The gang was operating from a rented house of a person named Sabir Ali in Morikolong. They were duping people by change fake currency notes with real ones.

Speaking to the media, police official said, "Based on a source, an operation was launched at Morikolong in Nagaon district. Three persons were arrested. Fake currency printing instruments and fake currencies were recovered”.
Police recovered manufacturing instruments along with fake currency notes from the house. Nagaon police investigating the matter.
