Facebook's India head deposes before Parliamentary Panel

Facebook's India head, Ajit Mohan, deposed before the Parliamentary 
Standing Committee Panel on Information and Technology on Wednesday. 
The panel was chaired by Shashi Tharoor, who along with Congress MP Karti Chidambaram questioned Mohan about a recent Wall Street Journal report which mentioned that the social media giant was reluctant in banning Bajrang Dal on its platform due to the safety concerns of its staff. The public policy director of Facebook, Shivnath Thukral was also questioned by the panel.
