The Delhi govt is soon likely to take a decision on reducing the number of Covid-19 vaccination centres in the city following a continued dip in daily vaccinations, the Indian Express has reported.
On Thursday, a total of 17,569 doses of vaccine were administered in Delhi, according to the CoWIN portal, sliding down further from the average 28,000 shots given every day this week.
The newspaper quoted an official as saying that earlier every district reported close to 10,000 shots daily but now they are administering only 1000 shots in a day.

The official also said that a file has already been moved on closing down all vaccination centres in schools. Vaccinations in Delhi schools will now be done only by setting up camps since schools are switching back to offline learning.
