Actor Sheezan Khan, who was arrested last year for allegedly abetting the suicide of his 'Alibaba Dastaan-E-Kabul ' co-star Tunisha Sharma, was granted bail by a Maharashtra court.
The court granted him bail in the case on a bail bond of ₹1 lakh and also has been asked to submit his passport, as reported by a news agency.
Sheezan was arrested on December 25 last year, after being accused of abetting Tunisha Sharma's suicide and has been in judicial custody ever since. Tunisha and Sheezan were reportedly in a relationship, and had broken up weeks before her alleged suicide.
Tunisha allegedly died by suicide by hanging herself on December 24, 2022, on the sets of her TV serial. Khan was arrested the very next day on a complaint lodged by Tunisha's mother.
