After 70 episodes, ALT Balaji's and MX Player's 'Lock Upp' has finally come to an end. Ultimately, it was Munawar Faruqui who was declared as the show’s winner.

The show, which began in February, featured well-known faces from the world of television and social media. The last battle was between the six finalists: Munawar Faruqui, Prince Narula, Azma Fallah, Shivam Sharma, Anjali Arora and Payal Rohatgi.

Ultimately, it was Munawar Faruqui who took home the winner’s trophy alongwith the cash prize of ₹20 lakh and a brand-new car. Munawar braved many storms and fights on the show with his boyish charm and simplicity. Fans simply loved him for his game strategies and honesty. Payal Rohatgi was declared as the show’s runner-up.

For the unversed, the Kangana Ranaut hosted 'Lock Upp’ was a reality show wherein contestants performed exciting tasks, engaged in wild clashes, and even disclosed their darkest secrets. The show was set in a jail-like set. The inmates (contestants) had to overcome many challenges in order to be safe. After being launched on February 3 this year, 'Lock Upp’ went onto become one of the highly watched shows in the OTT space. The show was broadcast live on MX Player and ALTBalaji around the clock.
