Rana Daggubati and Samantha Ruth Prabhu managed to make everyone laugh with their fun banter at a recent event and thanks to that the spotlight is back on their special bond. The duo has been part of Tollywood for years now and also has a Naga Chaitanya connection.
During an award ceremony when Samantha was on stage to receive her award, Rana Daggubati joked that she has gone to become his sister from being his sister-in-law. “Samantha went from Tollywood to Hollywood. Went from my sister-in-lawto sister,” he said. Rana Daggubati was the co-host of the award ceremony.
For the unversed, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was married to Naga Chaitanya who happens to be Rana Daggubati’s cousin. Sharing a few more fun anecdotes, Rana shared that he used to call the actor Samantha ‘Ruthless’ Prabhu.
While Rana Daggubati and Samantha share a close friendship, reports suggest that Naga Chaitanya’s engagement to actor Sobhita Dhulipala has not gone down well with the Daggubati family. Speculations on social media suggest that there has been discord due to Naga’s new relationship.
