Singer Chinmayi Sripada and actor husband Rahul Ravindran have welcomed twins - a girl and a boy. Chimayi shared the news on Instagram on Wednesday, giving the first glimpse of the babies. She also revealed their names in her post- Driptah and Sharvas.
In a separate post, the singer slammed those who questioned her if she had twins via surrogacy. Chinmayi said that she didn't post any pictures of her pregnancy as she was 'protecting' herself. She declared that she won't be sharing pictures of her kids anytime soon and will be 'extremely' guarded about her personal life. Chinmayi ended her note by saying that she in fact sang a bhajan during her caesarean procedure.

Chinmayi is known for extensive playback work across languages. Some of her popular songs include 'Oru Deivam Thantha Poovae,' 'Tere Bina Mayya,' 'Beda Beda' and 'Holi Re.' Besides being a singer, she is also a voice actor, television presenter, and radio jockey.
