‘Kalki 2898 AD’ advance booking: $2.6 million minted in US, new record set in Karnataka

‘Kalki 2898 AD’ storm is coming and the signs are already here! Nag Ashwin directorial will be released on June 27 and the film has already set records of advance booking. According to the reports, the mythological sci-fi thriller has sold over 77,000 tickets and earned $2.6 million in sales in North America.  

‘Kalki 2898 AD’ mints $2.6 million in North America 

Prathyangira Cinemas, film’s distributors in North America, gave update on social media platform X. “77,777+ tickets sold in North America. Prabhas is taking the box office by storm with audience flocking to see the Rebel Star in action in 3 more days,” they wrote. In another post, they wrote, “RAMPAGE in TOP GEAR, Kalki 2898 AD total North America pre sales crossed $2.6 million+. Prabhas’ game is going to be wild in the coming days.” 

'Kalki 2898 AD' advance booking in India 

While the advance ticket booking is yet to begin in most parts of India, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has reportedly sold record tickets worth Rs 50 lakh in Bengaluru within few minutes of advance booking being opened. According to Karnataka Talkies, ‘Kalki’ has become the fastest film in 2024 to sell 10,000 tickets in advance within Karnataka. 

Meanwhile, Telangana government gave nod to extra shows and hiked ticket prices for the first 8 days of film’s release.  

About ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ 

Besides Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan, the film also features Disha Patani, Anna Ben and Saswata Chatterjee. Helmed by Nag Ashwin, the mythological sci-fi drama is produced by Vyjayanthi Movies and will be released on June 27, 2024, in the Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and English languages.
