From Thalapathy 69 to political entry: Details of Vijay’s upcoming film and his further plans

One of the most successful and loved superstar of South, Thalapathy Vijay will most likely have a busy year. The ‘Leo’ actor is already working on ‘Greatest of All Time’ and now his 69th film has been confirmed. Reports suggest that Thalapathy Vijay will be teaming up with Karthik Subbaraj for his next film.

South Indian International Movie Awards twitter page shared the update, however, Vijay himself is yet to confirm the report. The anticipation about Vijay’s next project can be imagined by the fact that #Thalapathy69 was trending on X as soon as the news of his collaboration with Subbaraj surfaced. Fans of the actor took to social media to wish him luck for the next film. 

There are also reports that Vijay is set to make entry into politics within a month. His fan club, ‘Vijay Makkal Iyakkam’ will reportedly be registered as a political party. 

About Vijay’s work front

Currently, Vijay is gearing up for Venkat Prabhu’s ‘The Greatest of All Time’, where he will be seen playing dual roles. Fans are speculating that the film is a science fiction. ‘Leo’ Vijay was last seen in Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial ‘Leo’ which was one of the highest grossing films of 2023. 

About Karthik Subbaraj

Subbaraj, who has directed ‘Petta’ with Superstar Rajinikanth, had mentioned sharing the story ideas with actor Vijay in the past. Fans are excited to see how this collaboration between Vijay and Subbaraj turns out to be different.
