Tamil film ‘Chandramukhi 2’, starring Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut, is all set to hit the theatres on September 28. Ahead of its release, Raghava met superstar Rajinikanth and sought his blessings for the forthcoming film.

The actor also took the opportunity to congratulate the star on the success of his recent film, ‘Jailer’, which received an overwhelming response from the audience.

Expressing his joy on social media, Raghava wrote, ‘Today I met my Thalaivar and Guru Rajinikanth to wish him for Jailer’s blockbuster success and got blessings for Chandramukhi 2 release on September 28th. I’m so happy. Thalaivar is always great. Guruve Saranam.’

At a recent press meet for ‘Chandramukhi 2’, Raghava Lawrence expressed his gratitude towards three prominent superstars in his life, Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna.

Before starting the shooting for P Vasu’s film, Raghava mentioned that Rajinikanth offered him numerous valuable suggestions.

‘Chandramukhi 2’ marks Kangana’s second pan-India project, following her portrayal of J Jayalalithaa in the 2021 biopic ‘Thalaivii’.

The movie, directed by P Vasu, will be released in multiple languages, including Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
