Telugu Superstar Allu Arjun’s political campaigning for YSRCP MLA Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy has raised eyebrows in political circles. A case has been registered against the ‘Pushpa’ actor for allowing crowds to gather at MLA’s residence and allegedly violating the Moral Code of Conduct.
It was the last day of campaigning in Andhra Pradesh and Allu Arjun went all out to support his friend. The actor visited his politician friend’s residence in Andhra Pradesh’s Nandyala and was mobbed by a sea of fans. Both Allu Arjun and YSRCP MLA Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy were booked for allegedly violating Section 144 ahead of polling day. The duo were accused of allowing the massive public gathering at the MLA’s residence without a prior permission.
After meeting Reddy, Allu Arjun clarified that he visited his residence only to support his friend and doesn’t support any political party. Meanwhile, TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu, who was also campaigning in Nandyala lashed out at the YRSCP and alleged that the ruling parting is playing dirty politics by claiming that Allu Arjun is supporting them. He said that the actor had come only to support his friend and not the party.
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun’s father Allu Aravind was in Pithapuram along with Ram Charan where the duo met Pawan Kalyan. They offered prayers at a local temple and offered support to the fellow actor turned politician.
On the professional front, Allu Arjun is currently gearing up for the much-anticipated second installment of his blockbuster ‘Pushpa’ movie. Starring opposite Rashmika Mandanna, the actor will reprise his iconic character. The film will hit the theatres on August 15, 2024.
