Saif Ali Khan and Siddharth Anand reunite for project; fans go berserk as director shares pic with actor

Siddharth Anand recently stirred excitement among fans by sharing a picture from Budapest, Hungary, where he reunited with actor Saif Ali Khan. He referred to Saif as his 'first hero.'

The duo, known for their successful collaborations in films like 'Salaam Namaste' and 'Tara Rum Pum,' is set to explode the screens once again, nearly 17 years later, with an action-packed thriller, titled 'Jewel Thief.'

Siddharth Anand's recent Instagram post featured snapshots from their meet. The stars were clad in black t-shirts and denims.

The first image captured them posing for the camera, while the second showcased them engrossed in a conversation.  

Siddharth's caption read, 'Back on set with my first hero! How can nothing change! Haha! Love you Saif!'

Fans expressed their excitement in the comments section. One of them wrote, 'Old duo is back.' They also wished for a sequel of 'Tara Rum Rum Pum' that was released back in 2007, starring Rani Mukerji and Javed Jaffrey.

Even actor Arjun Kapoor couldn't resist, leaving a comment that read, 'Lord ki Jay ho !!!'

As details about 'Jewel Thief' continue to unfold, fans eagerly await further updates and insights into the film, eager to witness the magic that Siddharth Anand and Saif Ali Khan are set to create onscreen again.  

Currently, Saif is busy with his upcoming movie, 'Devara', which will mark his debut in the Telugu film industry.

The film's title is inspired by Dev Anand's 1967 movie Jewel Thief, but, it is reported that the movie has no connection to the original one.
