‘RRR’ registered a historic win at the Oscars for best original song ‘Naatu Naatu.’ However, it was only composer MM Keeravani and lyricist Chandrabose who were seen sitting separately from rest of the team who were seated near the exit.
As per an Economic Times report, only ‘Naatu Naatu’ composer MM Keeravani, lyricist Chandrabose and their wives were given free entry to the Academy awards and others had to pay for their tickets to watch the Live event.
SS Rajamouli bought the tickets for himself and his team that were worth $25,000 per person, equivalent to Rs 20.6 lakh, the report added.
SS Rajamouli attended the event with his wife Rama Rajamouli, son Karthikeya and daughter-in-law. Lead actors Ram Charan and Jr NTR also attended the event with their wives.
