Priyanka Chopra recently walked the red carpet at the premiere of her latest romantic drama, ‘Love Again’ and now she has shared how she got ‘mortified’ as she fell. She revealed that none of the photographers captured her fall.
Priyanka spoke about the incident on the talk show ‘The View’ and said, ‘I haven’t talked about this because I try and look for this thing every day on social media. But, I was wearing really high heels in this dress for it to look as tall as it did and you know, red carpet is full of press people, everyone is clicking pictures, fans. And, I fell on the carpet, on my shoes, I fell down all the way on my butt.’
Priyanka shared that no videos of her falling surfaced online as no photographers had captured the moment. She said, ‘I have never seen this happen in my 23 years of career, everyone put their cameras down and said ‘Don’t worry about it Pri, take your time.’ She added, ‘You’re always so nice, we got this’ — I stood up. And till now, there is no clip of me falling.’
Priyanka also shared how one anchor joked that if she had fallen in that dress, it would have taken a ‘hydraulic lift to get me back up.’ She said she also felt the same, ‘It really did, it felt like that.’
Priyanka’s film ‘Love Again’, also starring Sam Heughan and Celine Dion, was released in the US theatres on May 5.
