World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) icon John Cena has bid an emotional farewell to his illustrious in-ring career spanning over two decades.

The 17-time world champion competed in his final professional wrestling match at Saturday Night's Main Event (SNME) on Sunday, where he suffered a submission defeat to World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, marking the end of one of WWE's most decorated careers.

To honour Cena's retirement, Google released a special tribute: searching his name on the platform now displays a small hand icon at the bottom of the screen. Clicking it triggers Cena's signature 'You Can't See Me' emote, delighting fans worldwide.

Cena's remarkable career includes five WWE United States Championship reigns, one WWE Intercontinental Championship, two WWE Tag Team Championships (with The Miz and David Otunga), and two World Tag Team Championships (with Shawn Michaels and Batista). Beyond his dominance in the main event scene, Cena has left an indelible mark across all tiers of WWE competition.

Following the match, current WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, who competed against WWE NXT Champion Oba Femi at SNME, paid a heartfelt tribute to Cena, highlighting his enduring influence on professional wrestling.

Celebrities including Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Varun Dhawan, Lilly Singh, and Dwayne Johnson also shared their admiration on social media, celebrating Cena’s legendary legacy both in and out of the ring.
