Priyanka Chopra hosted a special screening of 'Chhello Show', India's official entry to the Oscars 2023, in Los Angeles recently. The film's director Pan Nalin and its lead actor Bhavin Rabari were among those who attended the screening.
Pictures and videos from the event were posted by producer David Dubinsky on Instagram. Sharing the pictures he wrote, ‘With Priyanka Chopra, actress, model, and producer (married to Nick Jonas) at the movie screening and reception of 'Last Film Show', a coming of age drama of a boy from a remote village in India who discovers the joys of the movie theater just as digital projection changes the game. It is India’s submission to the Academy Awards and was just shortlisted in Best International feature film category. Available on Netflix.’
Priyanka gave the viewers some context as to where the movie is set and talked about the days when single screen theatres were a norm in India.
