Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have vacated their Los Angeles home as per report by Page Six. According to report, they have also filed a legal case against its seller.
There were reportedly problems of mold infestation due to water damage in the house. As per the lawsuit filed in May 2023, the pool and spa in Priyanka and Nick’s luxurious home started showing problems like “porous waterproofing”. This resulted in “fostered mold contamination and related issues”.
As per the complaint, ‘at or about the same time, a water leak appeared at the barbecue area on the deck.’ “This leak damaged a portion of the interior living area immediately below the deck,” it added. There are also claims in the complaint that the house became “virtually unlivable” and “dangerous from a health perspective to occupy.”
“This has resulted in substantial and significant damage along with a failure of consideration which requires that the purchase and sale be rescinded,” the lawsuit added.
According to the report, the lawsuit mentions that waterproofing issues “will exceed” $1.5 million, while “general damages” might go as high as $2.5 million (approximately Rs 20 crores) and so Nick and Priyanka are seeking “consequential damages.”
Nick Jonas recently performed at the Lollapalooza India 2024 in Mumbai. While Priyanka is all set for Farhan Akhtar’s 'Jee Le Zaraa' with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
