Nick Jonas recently opened up about his touching relationship with his daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, highlighting the refreshing innocence of her perspective on his fame.
Speaking at JonasCon, he shared with People the unique balance he finds between his professional life and fatherhood.
"The best part about being a dad and juggling the demands of work is that you can feel on top of the world, yet she remains unaffected by it all," Nick reflected. "She just wants to play Moana and Maui with me—that's what truly matters. Being 'Dad' when I'm home is incredibly meaningful to me."
Although Malti is beginning to grasp her father's and his band's popularity, her understanding remains delightfully simple. Nick revealed, "I played her our new single recently, and when she saw the cover art, she identified my brothers as 'Uncle Kevy and Uncle Go.' I tried explaining that we’re the Jonas Brothers, but she adorably responded with 'The Donut Brothers.'"
Nick and Priyanka Chopra, who tied the knot in 2018, became parents to Malti Marie in 2022 through surrogacy.
On the professional front, Nick has ventured into Broadway with his debut in Jason Robert Brown's esteemed musical, The Last Five Years, where he shares the stage with Tony Award winner Adrienne Warren.
