‘I-LAND 2’, the Korean reality survival show, has unveiled its full signal song ‘Final Love Song’. The logo song for Mnet’s reality show is sung by none other than BLACKPINK’s golden voice Rosé.
After much anticipation, Mnet released the full version of the reality show’s signal song and a performance video featuring the show's contestants.
While the BLACKPINK star only has 45 seconds on the track, her part has become viral on the Internet. Fans could not keep calm and has been posting praises on social media platforms.
‘My Demon’ actor Song Kang who has enlisted in the military also appears in the beginning of the song as host of the show. Besides Song Kang, BIGBANG's Taeyang, dancers Monica and Lee Jung as well as producer 24 and VVN will star as producers and performance directors for ‘I-LAND 2: N/a’.
Produced by THEBLACKLABEL’s Teddy, 24 and VVN, the song captures the contestants’ determination to beat the challenges to achieve their dreams. The song is inspired by ‘The Final Countdown’ by the Swedish rock band Europe.
'I-LAND2' is a reality survial show, created by Mnet. Around 20 trainees compete to form a global K-pop group. The first season of the show which was launched in 2020, led to the formation of boy group ENHYPEN. Singer IU had sung the opening theme for season 1 of the show. ‘I-LAND 2: N/a’, the second season of the reality show is all set to premiere on April 18. The show will see a fierce competition to form a girl group this time.
After parting ways with YG Entertainment in December 2023, Rosé has been busy with solo activities. The BLACKPINK singer has not revealed her solo comeback, but South Korean media reports claim that she is currently working to establish a one-person label for her solo promotions.
